SodaStream is an "Active Green" company.  This means that when consumers use our product they are actively reducing the global CO2 footprint. The more our eco-friendly products are used, the more CO2 footprint the user actively saves.

Our vision is to create a world free from plastic bottles and cans, making it a better world for our children.  We are committed to continuously improving as an earth-friendly brand and having a positive impact on our environment.

By promoting the use of tap water to create carbonated flavored beverages, SodaStream makes traditional store-bought soda obsolete.  This results in less plastic manufactured, less plastic waste and less transport of bottled beverages.  Each re-usable SodaStream bottle replaces thousands of conventional bottles and cans.  Each of our CO2 carbonators makes up to 60 liters, equal to approximately 180 cans of beverage.  And just 1 bottle of our concentrated syrup makes 12 liters (about 33 cans) of soda.

SodaStream actively supports initiatives around the world promoting the use of tap water and making sure people have access to clean drinking water.  In 2009, SodaStream Italy partnered with Legambiente, the most widespread environmental organization in Italy.  We helped sponsor Water Day in 2010, which covered activities in over 20 cities promoting the use of tap water.  In 2011 SodaStream teamed-up with The Water Project, Inc. to build water wells in Kenya, providing fresh, clean drinking water to thousands of people.  We will continue to do what we can to improve our environment and make a positive difference in our world.
